Get yourself into a kayak and hit Gutter Rock Creek, and if you get bored of Cove Lake you could also explore nearby Subiaco Reservoir. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CLARKSVILLE is a magnificent place to get some rest, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Big Shoal Creek. You clearly must fancy the Ouachita Mountains. Go for a hike on the Magazine Hiking Trail, and Cove Lake is not the only location close by, Subiaco       Reservoir is a close by lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Cove Lake is excellent! The sight of Flattop Mountain from Cove Lake is stunning, and do check out Cove Lake Dam if you're here. Burnett Spring is a fine local attraction, and Cove Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. Cove Lake is located in the Ouachita Mountains. Cove Lake is a good site of typical rainfall; during the month of May you get the most rain around here;                  January on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Clarksville AR; Mount Magazine State Park is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 90's at Cove Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's.
