This lake is so wonderful. Mount Magazine State Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Big Shoal Creek. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CLARKSVILLE; at Cove Lake you can catch a glimpse of Flattop Mountain. You just must fancy the Ouachita Mountains.       You can run the rapids of Gutter Rock Creek right next door to Cove Lake. Lakes? Sure, Subiaco Reservoir is close by. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Cove Lake; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's more to do close to Cove Lake. A spree to Cove Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Burnett Spring, and at Cove Lake Dam in close proximity to Cove Lake there are                  some interesting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Clarksville-Days Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest; Subiaco Reservoir is a great lake nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Cove Lake Campground is a fine site to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cove Lake; Magazine Hiking Trail is a great local trail. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Cove Lake.
