Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Boston Mountains. If you're here at Courtwright Lake, you could visit Horton Branch; a nice close by hotel is Best Western Village Inn. So much fun stuff to do at Courtwright Lake, so little time. Why not stop at Courtwright Lake Dam if you're here, and Courtwright Lake is a good spot to camp, Strawberry River Campground       is a good spot. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like Lake Lewis One near Courtwright Lake is a wonderful location to explore, and camping at Courtwright Lake is glorious fun, Riverside Motel is a glorious local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. The high level of precipitation makes Courtwright Lake a reasonably wet place; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. If you don’t have                  a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring River; lots of folks from West Plains come here. At Courtwright Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Courtwright Lake. All year is a great time in the Boston Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors.
