Cook Lake is located in the Ouachita Mountains. A large amount of rain falls at Cook Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is August. You could also check out Aldersgate Lake since you're here at Cook Lake; it's close by, and golf can be played at Western Hills Country Club.
