The Ouachita Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to Clear Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Morrilton; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Sylvia Campground is a great site to camp. You can take a little journey to Darbys Pond Dam while you're here at Clear Lake, and swamps are out of the ordinary sites and Bull Lake Slough near Clear       Lake is no exception. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Morrilton is a pleasant choice. Clear Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Coffee Creek Landing and Motel while you're here at Clear Lake, and glide down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak. And that's not all there                  is to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. What would a site like Clear Lake be without exciting close by features like Calfneck Bend, and if you come at the right time of year, South Fourche LaFave offers some good whitewater. High temperatures at Clear Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Clear Lake. Looking for some flowing water?
