This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Darby Lake is a lake that's close to Charleston Lake; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Alma. Alma RV Park is a great campground nearby, and float down the rapids of Little Mill Creek - East Fork in a kayak. Charleston Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through May this area sees       the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Charleston Lake during the summer are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Charleston Lake all through the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. You just should love Charleston Lake.
