High temperatures at Cecil Jones Lake through the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's, and overnight lows at Cecil Jones Lake through the winter commonly dip into the 20's. Cecil Jones Lake gets a lot of water; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.       This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Alum Fork Saline River flows through this region, and a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Inn. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Ouachita Mountains has it all. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cecil Jones Lake has                  to offer, you can camp at Benton RV Park, and nearby you hit upon Stillhouse Hollow which is a tremendous location to go to. While you're here at Cecil Jones Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Little Rock-North Little Rock; if you need a location to stay Ramada Inn Benton is a fine choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saline River - North Fork, and you don’t have to go far from Cecil Jones Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Cecil Jones Lake Dam. And that's not all you can do here at Cecil Jones Lake.
