A great deal of rainfall falls at Cargile Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Cargile Lake, you'll stumble on West Fork Point Remove Creek Site 16 Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and a delightful nearby hotel is Days Inn Morrilton. A pleasant place to camp here at Cargile Lake is Morrilton       Koa Kampground, and at Cargile Lake you can see Boyd Mountain. All year is a great time in the Boston Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cedar Creek; you don’t have to go far from Cargile Lake to distinguish the water at Cargile Lake Dam. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Cargile Lake. Camping is available at Lewisburg Bay RV Park, and there are other places here than Cargile Lake, for                  example Fish Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Boston Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Galla Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and Scottish Inns Morrilton is a great location to get some rest. Summertime highs at Cargile Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
