You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cantrell Lake has to offer, you can camp at Baron Fork Creek Campground, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Butterfield Hiking Trail. Cantrell Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Ozarks. Glide down the rapids of Fall Creek in a kayak, and hiking along       the Weddington Hiking Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lake Weddington Campground; Hampton Inn Siloam Springs is a good place to get some rest. At Cantrell Lake Dam near Cantrell Lake there are some exciting things to see, and paddling on Illinois River is so much fun. A brilliant nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Fayetteville; you're possibly into lakes, Rodgers Lake is one of those close by. Cantrell                  Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the days of summer at Cantrell Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Cantrell Lake drop into the 20's. So many amusing things to do here in the Ozarks, too tremendous to be true. This is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes.
