Getting to Mill Pond Branch from Camp Kia Kima Lake is uncomplicated, and a wonderful place for whitewater paddling       is Spring River - South Fork. Summer at Camp Kia Kima Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Camp Kia Kima Lake temperatures dip to the 10's.
