You'll discover a lovely lake called Reservoir Number One near Burlesons Pond, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/Carlisle. This lake is so wonderful. Burlesons Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Whipporwill Trailer Park is a great place to camp nearby, and a scenic lake like Little Pond is       a splendid location to stop at. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Burlesons Pond frequently gets much rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. Big Pond Dam is not far at all from Burlesons Pond, and a quick visit to Collins Creek is certainly a good idea. Through the months of summer highs here at Burlesons Pond get into the 90's.
