This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of the Ouachita Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Magazine Hiking Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Chamberlyne Country Club is always a delight. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn Clarksville, and Buckman Lake is a wonderful       spot to visit for more than one day, Spring Lake Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. Buckman Lake is not far at all from Russellville. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Buckman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cove Lake Campground. While you're here at Buckman Lake, you could also visit pretty Horseshoe Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Shoal Creek. And that's not everything                  there is to do here in the Ouachita Mountains. You'll locate a lovely lake called Mason Lake near Buckman Lake, and why not go to Chambers Lake Dam if you're here. The warmest time of the year at Buckman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Buckman Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ouachita Mountains. Yeah, come here to Buckman Lake for a great time.
