At Browns Shanty Lake through the summertime highs are in the 90's, and the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Browns Shanty Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Now, you may imagine that's a       heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Browns Shanty Lake. It's a fine idea to stop by Maddox Bay, it's near Browns Shanty Lake, and Browns Shanty Lake is not the only spot close by, Upper Hooked Lake is a close by lake. Browns Shanty Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Sweatt Fishing and Hunting Camp is a wonderful location to camp nearby; you'll perhaps meet some folks from West Helena here. All the water falling                  down from the sky makes Browns Shanty Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May; August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
