Going for a hike along the Butterfield Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; camping at Alma Koa Kampground is always a nice       experience. This lake is located in the wonderful Boston Mountains. A good deal of precipitation falls at Brandenburg Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. So many exciting things right next door to Brandenburg Lake, absolutely unbelievable. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a great location to spend a night or two, and Mormon Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by.                  You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Boston Mountains has to offer. Brandenburg Lake is not the only spot close by, T J House Reservoir is a close by lake, and hiking along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Hammond Lake while you're here at Brandenburg Lake; it's nearby, and near Brandenburg Lake you come across a golf course called Eagle Crest Golf Course. During the warm days of summer at Brandenburg Lake highs are typically in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Brandenburg Lake fall into the 20's.
