This site is great, just look at all the cool things to do next to Brandenburg Lake. Mormon Creek is a good whitewater spot near Brandenburg Lake; Brandenburg Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Alma Koa Kampground is a good place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Brandenburg Lake, for example T J House Reservoir;       a golf course close by is Eagle Crest Golf Course. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Boston Mountains has to offer. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling near Brandenburg Lake is Mill Creek, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest. Through the summer at Brandenburg Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at                  Brandenburg Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Boston Mountains is excellent! Stay the night at KOA Campgrounds, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Butterfield Hiking Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Alma-Days Inn; Hammond Lake is a good lake nearby. Brandenburg Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. At Brandenburg Lake Dam near Brandenburg Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and going for a hike along the Shores Lake Water Rock Spur will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
