This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mount Magazine State Park, and Sugar Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Not far from Boneville Lake, you'll hit upon Parker Lake which is a beautiful lake, and you can       run the rapids of Jack Creek. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Cherokee Creek Golf Club; Coal Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. The high level of rainfall makes Boneville Lake a rather wet spot; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Days Inn Ozark is a delightful place to get some rest.
