If you need a place to stay Best Western Colony Inn is a great choice, and you're sure to come across some wonderful people from Forrest City here. Hampton Inn Forrest City Ar is a tremendous site to get some rest; Little Yancopin Lake is a tremendous lake close by. For the period of the summer months at Big Twin Lake       temperatures are frequently in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Big Twin Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Big Twin Lake, for example Little Twin Lake, and why not camp at Maple Flat Campground while you're here at Big Twin Lake. A lot of precipitation                  falls at Big Twin Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
