Big Dickinson Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is located in the wonderful Ouachita Mountains. Be careful coming to the Ouachita Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. A good location       to camp here at Big Dickinson Lake is N Little Rock Koa Kampground. A lake close by is Lake Bendine, and a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn LITTLE ROCK-PRESIDENTIAL-DWNTN. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area next to Big Dickinson Lake has to offer. Big Dickinson Lake is not far at all from Little Rock-North Little Rock, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Hindman Park Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
