Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cedar Creek - East Fork, and camping at Park Ridge RV Campground is always a great experience. The high level of precipitation makes Beverly Hills Lake a relatively wet location; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Not enough hours in a day       to enjoy the Boston Mountains. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Cedar Creek - West Fork, and Dripping Spring is an inspiring place to stop by while you're here. Through the warm months here at Beverly Hills Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Beverly Hills Lake. This lake is so wonderful.                  Good hiking is available along the Butterfield Hiking Trail, and in the vicinity of Beverly Hills Lake you come across a golf course called Cedars Country Club. The Boston Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lakes are perfect; Lee Creek Reservoir is a lake that's next to Beverly Hills Lake, and if you came to camp Overland RV Park is a nice location to do that. Not far from Beverly Hills Lake, you'll locate Louemma Lake which is a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Van Buren (I-40 @ Hwy. 59 N.), is a great spot to spend a night or two. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Boston Mountains. There's some interesting stuff to see at Beverly Hills Lake Dam right next door to Beverly Hills Lake, and some nearby water includes East Cedar Creek.
