You truly must adore Barnes Lake. Paddling on Little Missouri River is so much fun; going for a hike on the Gypsum Trail is always a nice adventure. Through the summer here at Barnes Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's;       night lows in the 20's for Barnes Lake. Not far from Barnes Lake, you'll find Davis Lake which is a striking lake. There's so much to do here at Barnes Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crater of Diamonds State Park is a magnificent site for that. If you came to camp Daisy State Park is a great place to do that; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Barnes Lake Dam close to Barnes Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater                  paddling is brilliant on Saline River, and you can go for a hike on the Kizzia Trail.
