This lake is one of the great places here in the Boston Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Baker Lake a wet site; all through May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Whispering Pines Trailer Park is always a glorious experience, and don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Begley Creek. Be careful coming to the       Boston Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. High temperatures at Baker Lake through the summer months are in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Baker Lake. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Hillside Inn, and Baker Lake Dam is lovely. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a pleasant time. The Sycamore is a magnificent site                  to get some rest, and get dripping wet paddling on Little Red River - Archey's Fork. Blue Mountain can be distinguished from Baker Lake, and Eadl Hollow is another pleasant place to explore close by. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
