Do pop by Jones Lake near Arkla Lake, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Arkla Lake, you could also go to gorgeous Myrtis Mill Pond; Arkla Lake Dam is a striking spot, beyond doubt worth a visit. A great deal of precipitation falls at       Arkla Lake; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. The warmest time of the year at Arkla Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's.
