Alix Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Alix Pond. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Boston Mountains, too nice to be true. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Gutter Rock Creek; if you need a place to       stay Clarksville-Days Inn is a perfect choice. If you came to camp Horsehead Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a perfect site to do that, and camping at Cove Lake Campground is always a delightful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Magazine Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Horsehead Creek - West Fork. After                  a long day outdoors Ozark Days Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Spy Rock Redding Loop. At Alix Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Alix Pond tend to be in the 20's.
