York Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain;       March is the month that gets the most rain while October is ordinarily the driest month. Camping is available at Gunter Hill Park; you'll meet a lot of folks from Montgomery here. At York Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at York Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
