    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Woodland Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Woodland Lake. Mimosa Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and Patton Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery. Through the warm days of summer at Woodland Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's with temperatures at Woodland Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter  
   nights.
A nice spot to camp here at Woodland Lake is Bob's Campground and Marina, and Sleep Inn Tuscaloosa is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lakeside RV Park is always a magnificent experience, and dry warm beds await you at Value Place Tuscaloosa. A lake nearby is East Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Payne Lake Nature Trail.
The high level of precipitation makes Woodland Lake a quite wet place; all through
 
               the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Here at Woodland Lake there are plenty of people from Tuscaloosa, and if you get bored of Woodland Lake you could also stop at nearby Patton Lake.
