In Alabama there are many beautiful lakes, Woodland Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Fletcher Hollow if you're here at Woodland Lake, and Swearengin Peak Campground is a brilliant local campground. During the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Woodland Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Woodland

You don’t have to go far from Woodland Lake to see the water at Little Paint Creek Lake Dam, and if you need a location to stay Guntersville Lake Super 8 Motel is a fine choice. At Parnell Creek RV Park we have 34 level gravel sites. There are 14 sites with 30 amp Full Hook Up and 8 sites with 50 amp Full Hook Up. We also have 10 sites with 30 amp Water/Electric and 2 site with 50 amp Water/Electric. We also have 2 full service cabins and 3 Rustic Cabins, plus tenting areas.
We are centrally located near Scottsboro, Grant, Huntsville and Guntersville. There are many lakes to fish in nearby and the fish are plentiful. We are also close to Cathedral Caverns, Unclaimed Baggage, NASA Space Center, Robert Trent Jones Golf Courses, Old McDonalds Petting Zoo and many other attractions.

Crawford RV Park
 | 14 miles away We stayed at Crawford RV park for a week April 2006. A small family owned park which had WiFi was a great find. It was convenient to fishing and other activities. We are making reservations there for this April 2007. I would recommend this park to anyone who likes a small family campground atmosphere.... |
