A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ANDALUSIA; Wise Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Florala State Park is a pleasant local campground. All through the warm days of summer at Wise Pond temperatures are generally in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 50's       while the cold winter nights at Wise Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Opp Inn is a fine choice; it's a good idea to go to Dry Creek. So much entertaining stuff to do at Wise Pond, so little time. The high level of rain makes Wise Pond a relatively wet spot; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October.
