High temperatures at Wingard Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to       the 50's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Wingard Lake tend to be in the 30's. Wingard Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Leisure Isle is a delightful local campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Tallapoosa River. Yeah, come here to Wingard Lake for a glorious time. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Wingard Lake Dam in close proximity to Wingard Lake. Wingard Lake is a wet place that                  gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October.
