The scenery at Wilson Dam near Wilson Lake is striking, and Fleet Hollow is also a perfect spot to look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to Wilson Lake. Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa is a brilliant site to get some rest; Wilson Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Payne's RV Park is a great local campground. You're sure to run into some smiling people from Florence here, and camping       at Cherokee RV Park is always a good experience. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Wilson Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Wilson Lake. Blackberry Trail Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and a journey to Valley Spring will fill your soul with brilliant feelings. Wilson Lake is a relatively wet place                  usually with a good deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful.
