The high level of precipitation makes Wiley Lake a quite wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's       the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Scottsboro is a good choice; why not a little side spree to Mink Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay South Sauty Creek Store is a great place to camp; Dobbins Gap is a magnificent place to check out. A beautiful lake like Black Lake near Wiley Lake is a great site to visit, and whitewater paddling is fine on                  South Sauty Creek. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Wiley Lake. Do stop at White Lake close to Wiley Lake, it's a beautiful lake; get drenched paddling on Town Creek.
