Whitmire Ponds is a pretty wet place commonly with much rainfall; most of the rain falls through March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This place is great, just check out all the cool stuff to do in close proximity to Whitmire Ponds. You can take a little spree to Whitmire Lake Dam if you're here at Whitmire Ponds; get wet       paddling on Warrior River - Locust Fork. If the weather is lovely, you get a wonderful panorama of Browns Mountain from Whitmire Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Hanceville is a tremendous place to get some rest; there are other spots here than Whitmire Ponds, for example Hazerig Upper Pond. Summertime highs at Whitmire Ponds regularly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the                  40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Whitmire Ponds. Andy Branch flows through this vicinity; an afternoon playing golf at Plantation Golf Club is always a joy.
