Not far from Weiss Lake, you'll hit upon Lake Weisner which is a gorgeous lake; a journey to Tillery Cove is always a good idea. A good deal of rainfall falls at Weiss Lake; through March this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Weiss Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are       mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Weiss Lake fall into the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Wolf Creek offers some good whitewater, and the scenery at Weiss Dam is charming. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Weiss Lake, too pleasant to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn, and drift down the rapids of Yellow Creek in a kayak. Lakes are delightful; Helms Lake is a lake                  that's in the vicinity of Weiss Lake; Weiss Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Bay Springs Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby.
