Terrapin Creek nearby is also a good place to go paddling/fishing. Best places to stay are private rental properties on the lake. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf Creek, and if you have time, Little River Canyon National Preserve is a national park worth taking a look at. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Weiss Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and       nighttime lows in the 20's for Weiss Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellow Creek. There's so much to do here at Weiss Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bay Springs Campground is a great spot for that. Weiss Lake usually gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is commonly the driest month. Tillery                  Cove is in close proximity and always tremendous to go to, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Of Centre is a fine choice. So much cool stuff to do at Weiss Lake, so little time. There's so much to do here at Weiss Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Cone Marina is a brilliant place for that.
