This lake is so wonderful. Sougahatchee Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; a nice close by hotel is Sleep Inn & Suites. Having a perfect time at Wards Pond is easy. Cossey Branch is one of the streams nearby that       might be worth visiting, and while you're here you can play some golf at Pin Oaks Golf Club.
