Why not stop by Walters Pond if you're passing through these parts. Through the warm months at Walters Pond highs are typically in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Walters Pond. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Troy is a fine location to spend a night or two; a brilliant site to camp here at Walters Pond is Deer Run Park. This lake is so wonderful.

Troy-Days Inn Troy State University is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and a wonderful lake like Pike County Lake is a glorious site to have a look at. Camping is available at Camp Sharon Campground. Walters Pond is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; throughout March this area sees the most rain while October is typically the driest month.
