Walls Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Drift down the rapids of Elkahatchee Creek in a kayak; Walls Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Wind Creek State Park is a pleasant local campground. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Alexander City, and Walls Dam is scenic. All the water falling down from the sky makes Walls Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October meanwhile is the driest month.

If you need a site to stay Jameson Inn Alexander City is a fine choice; camping at Whispering Springs Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Sugar Creek next to Walls Lake is a delightful idea; Willow Point Golf and Country Club is a golf course close by.
