     If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Alexander City is a wonderful choice; Wind Creek State Park is a splendid local campground. Hatchet Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Talladega-Sylacauga for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Horseshoe Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest, and brilliant water scenery is available at Walls Lake Dam in the vicinity of Walls Lake.  
   Walls Lake regularly gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October.
All through the summer here at Walls Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Walls Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. You could also stop by Baker Creek Lagoon since you're here at
 
               Walls Lake; it's nearby; enjoy a round of golf at Hatchett Creek Golf Course and Driving Range. Whitewater paddling is good on Elkahatchee Creek, and a lake close by is Brooks Farm Pond.
That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Walls Lake has it all. Whispering Springs Campground is a good campground nearby; hey, Cat Creek is a fine local stream. This lake is so wonderful.
