Venable Lake is a wet spot that gets much rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. So much exciting stuff to do here at Venable                  Lake, too glorious to be true. A round of golf at nearby Lakewood Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time, and getting to Long Branch from Venable Lake is easy. Summertime at Venable Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Venable Lake descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
