You can take a little trip to Howard Lamar Dam if you're here at Tysons Lake, and Tysons Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Leisure Time Campgrounds is a perfect local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Sougahatchee Creek offers some nice whitewater, and New Hog Wallow Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Tysons Lake is a wet site that       gets lots of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Tysons Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bar-w RV Park is a good site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn & Suites. Any time is a delightful time at Tysons Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Auburn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. At Tysons Lake you always                  meet someone from Tuskegee, and if you get bored of Tysons Lake you could also stop by nearby Old Hog Wallow Lake. At Tysons Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
