Lots of people from Anniston-Oxford come to Twin Lakes, and Twin Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Cane Creek RV Park and Campground is a brilliant local campground. Americas Best Value Inn-Heflin is a delightful location to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Salt Creek offers some delightful whitewater. You could also stop at Robinson Lake if you're here at Twin Lakes; it's nearby, and float down the rapids of Cheaha

Camping at Country Court RV Park is always a good experience, and getting to Turner Creek from Twin Lakes is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Oxford, and do take a hike on the Odum Trail. During the summer months at Twin Lakes highs are mostly in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. | |

Sure, Creighton Lake Number 1 is just a very short distance away. Twin Lakes is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of precipitation; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
