All the water falling down from the sky makes Trudy Lake a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Through the summer highs here at Trudy Lake get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the       50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Trudy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop by Abel Gap. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Stay the night at Country Court RV Park, and obviously, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Carters Lake is a lake around here. There's always Allen and Phillips Dam to check out near Trudy Lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel                  & Suites ANNISTON/OXFORD is a brilliant choice. You can run the rapids of Salt Creek right next door to Trudy Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Oxford. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Trudy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cheaha Resort State Park is a splendid place for that; you'll meet a lot of folks from Anniston-Oxford here.
