While you're here at Thorval Lake, you could also go to picturesque Thornton Number 5 Lake, and camping at Leesburg Resorts is always a good experience. At Thorval Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the night is quite colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down       through the wintertime temperatures at Thorval Lake descend into the 20's. If you came to camp Lakeside Rv Park is a delightful site to do that, also Thorval Dam is worth checking out if you're here. The high level of rain makes Thorval Lake a reasonably wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. Thornton Number 6 Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and if you need a location to                  stay Hampton Inn Gadsden AL is a wonderful choice. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Dry Creek flows through this area, and Super 8 Motel - Gadsden is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling next to Thorval Lake is Black River, and Coats Bend is something you shouldn't miss if you're here.
