There's so much to do here at Thorton Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeside Rv Park is a delightful place for that. Stay the night at Leesburg Resorts, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Gadsden AL is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Thorton Lakes is a relatively wet place usually with lots of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and       the driest month is October. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Thorton Lakes has it all. While you're here at Thorton Lakes you will meet lots of people from close by Gadsden. High temperatures at Thorton Lakes during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Thorton Lakes.
