The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to The Pocosinlake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while The Pocosinlake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. After a long       day outdoors Courtyard Troy is a great place to spend a night or two, and do stop by Pocosin Pond Dam since you're here. The Pocosinlake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is March; October meanwhile is the driest month. Swamps like The (historical) Pocosin close to The Pocosinlake make for delightful locations to go to, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Sand S Lake. Collins Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; camping at Camp Sharon Campground is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful.
