The Pocosinlake is a reasonably wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to The Pocosinlake.       Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Troy. A fine location to camp here at The Pocosinlake is Camp Sharon Campground; swamps are attention-grabbing sites and The (historical) Pocosin near The Pocosinlake is no exception. During the summertime highs here at The Pocosinlake reach the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 50's with temperatures at The Pocosinlake dipping                  down into the 30's through winter nights. Not far from The Pocosinlake you acquire some good water scenery at Pocosin Pond Dam, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Troy here. This lake is so wonderful.
