     Alabama has many beautiful lakes and Temples Lake is one of them. Econo Lodge Ft. Payne is a delightful site to get some rest; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Temple Dam. If the weather is delightful, you get a perfect panorama of Mount Brandon from Temples Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Temples Lake has to offer, you can camp at Little River RV Park and Campground. Any time is a good time at Temples Lake if  
   you have a thing about the outdoors. If time allows, Little River Canyon National Preserve is a national park worth visiting, and since you're here you can play some golf at Rainsville Country Club.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Fort Payne-Days Inn, and you can stay the night at Wills Creek RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Hicks Creek offers some great whitewater, and if you're here, you
 
               could stop at Hicks Creek.
During the days of summer here at Temples Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Temples Lake fall into the 20's. Temples Lake generally gets lots of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Temples Lake is a place with many visitors from Summerville; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Johnnies Creek.
