This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Big Herd Spring, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Moulton is a great spot to spend a night or two. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Sykes Pond. The wonderful folks of Decatur like to hang out nearby, and       unsurprisingly, this is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes, Cottonwood Pond is a lake around here. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Sykes Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sykes Pond. Sykes Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the                  month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is October.
