     A great close by hotel is Jameson Inn Decatur, and why not a little side trip to Pryor Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Harris-Sweetwater Dewatering Area is right close by; not far from Swan Lake you'll locate Beaver Lake which is a picturesque lake. A lot of rainfall falls at Swan Lake; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a site to stay  
   Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites DECATUR is a nice choice. There's so much to do here at Swan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Point Mallard Campground is a splendid spot for that.
Summertime highs at Swan Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Swan Lake are in the 20's. Decatur
 
               Harbor is a gorgeous site near Swan Lake. Lakes? Sure, Goose Pond is close by. If you came to camp Northgate RV Travel Park is a great place to do that, and there are plenty of people from Decatur here at Swan Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a perfect time at Swan Lake if you like the outdoors. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Cedar Ridge Golf Course is always a pleasure.

This lake is now Sun Lake and is a private community lake for residents. It used to be one of the best public pay access lakes in the state for large bass. Was more of a spring fed swamp back then and has been blasted and manicured with apartments and homes (waterfront) The old spring house and the original dam are still in place. Small boat ramp is available to residents no outboards electric only....
