Through the days of summer highs here at Summers Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Summers Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake       is so wonderful. Best Western Colonial Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest; while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Limestone Springs Golf Club. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Summers Lake is great! Do take a look at Gilliand Pond near Summers Lake, it's a scenic lake, and some close by water includes Cheney Branch. Summers Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with                  most of the rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. A tremendous place to stop by close to Summers Lake is Lower Sand Valley, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Warrior River - Calvert Prong of the Locust Fork. A fine location to camp here at Summers Lake is Horse Pens 40 Campground.
