You'll find a wonderful lake called Doctor Pattons Upper Lake near Summers Lake, and a wonderful site to camp here at Summers Lake is Horse Pens 40 Campground. Summers Lake is a rather wet place typically with a good deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the       driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Chitwood Creek for all you adrenaline people, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Colonial Inn. Playing golf is lots of fun at Limestone Springs Golf Club, and a delightful lake like Tidwell Pond is a pleasant spot to visit. Hunt Mountain is a peak you can make out from Summers Lake. Just can't get enough of Summers Lake. Lower Sand Valley is a good spot to discover, and get your heart                  beating on the good whitewater of Warrior River - Calvert Prong of the Locust Fork. At Summers Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
