If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn Oxford is a tremendous choice; Salt Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. What a spot this is for outdoors people. If you came for an overnight stay Cane Creek RV Park and Campground is a great site to camp, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go       whitewater paddling on Cheaha Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Anniston-Oxford here at Stricklins Lake, and good hiking is available along the Odum Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Turner Creek, and Country Court RV Park is a fine local campground. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Creighton Lake Number 1 near Stricklins Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn-Heflin. Stricklins                  Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. All through the summertime months at Stricklins Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
