Stricklin Dam is a scenic place in the neighborhood of Stricklins Lake, and Creighton Number 2 Lake is a fine lake nearby. If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn Oxford is a tremendous choice; Salt Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Some of the water nearby flows, like Turner Creek, and Country Court RV Park is a fine local campground. Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. All through the summertime months at Stricklins Lake highs
are commonly in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Stricklins Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's.
