So much exciting stuff to do here at Stewarts Lake, too glorious to be true. It's always brilliant to have a look at Salt Creek Falls, and camping at Cheaha Resort State Park is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Stewarts Lake highs are mostly in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are       normally in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Stewarts Lake. Paddling on Salt Creek is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors SUPER VALUE INN OXFORD is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Stewarts Lake is not far at all from Anniston-Oxford, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Cider Ridge Golf Club is close by. A pleasant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn; since you might be in a lake visiting                  mood you can always visit close by Garret Lake Number 2. Stewarts Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Cheaha Creek; a pleasant place to camp here at Stewarts Lake is Country Court RV Park. There is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Stewarts Lake called the Odum Trail.
