Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Sand Valley Creek, and a trip to Duck Springs will fill your soul with magnificent feelings. Through the months of summer at Stephens Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Stephens Lake drop into       the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Line Creek near Stephens Lake. Camping is available at Lakeside Rv Park, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Attalla is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Sequoyah Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if you crave a little side trip, try Penitentiary Hollow. Stephens Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the month that gets                  the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Mount Eba Lake, and you can take a little journey to Stephens Dam if you're here at Stephens Lake. There's whitewater on Black River for all you adrenaline people; a delightful nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Gadsden. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Stephens Lake has to offer.
