Steeds Lake is a rather wet place commonly with lots of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You'll meet a lot of folks from Anniston-Oxford here. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Lincoln, and good water       scenery is available at Steed Dam in the vicinity of Steeds Lake. Any time is a good time at Steeds Lake if you like the outdoors. Alligator Branch is next to Steeds Lake and is always a delight to pop by, and drift down the rapids of Salt Creek in a kayak. Paddling on Choccolocco Creek is so much fun; a wonderful lake like Catfish Lake is a great place to stop at. Through the warm days of summer at Steeds Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight                  lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Steeds Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
