If you are in this part of Alabama make sure to pay a visit to Stansons Lake. A nice location to camp here at Stansons Lake is Chewacla State Park; Sougahatchee Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Paddling on Little Uchee is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Hamilton Dam, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Rolling Hills Golf Course is around here.

Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
